Cannot delete file on laptop?

All the information:


the file is a video .ivr


it says internet recording and it doesn't play


its 80 MB


i'm pretty sure it's not a virus


when I delete it it says discovering items


I made a shortcut to the file and that won't delete either


I downloaded a program called moveonboot and it says preparing data and doesn't load


my laptop has windows 7

Cramping, havent felt baby move today?

I'm currently 19 weeks pregnant. For the past week or so ivr felt my baby move pretty much at least once every day. Today after sex I had some cramping that stopped but now is back. I'm also just getting over bacterial vaginosis. Should I be worried? Any stories?|||I don't have any stories but I do know that a lot of woman get paranoid about this kind of thing when they are pregnant and sometimes so paranoid that it's in their head but I also know that things do happen so it's best for you to call your doctor and have a look. Also you can do something to try to get baby to move around a little like take a hot shower, rub your belly, have a little soda... all those things make them move around.|||Im always amazed at the number of people that would rather ask a stranger online a medical question than a dr. Especially since there are two lives at stake when you're pregnant. Stupidity at it's finest. Here goes, call a dr cramping during pregnancy isn't a good thing. Secondly you shouldn't be having sex while you have bacterial vaginosis seeing as how you probably got it from sex in the first place. You can pass the bacteria to your partner and then he can give it back to you again. I'm sure your dr told you this and you simply didn't listen.|||ANY time your pregnant and worried about anything, you should call and talk to your doctor or the exchange. You are the mother of that baby. If it feels like somethings not right, its best to just be checked. It would hurt nothing but an hour of your time. Has anyone reached the limits of Fax-Modem?

Hello friends! This is Prabhakaran from India. Before a few a weeks I came to know that we can send fax using pc if we have a fax modem in the pc. In our office we are already having a fax machine integrated in a PBX(Private Branch Exchange). If we are getting a fax from outstations first we get call on one of the terminal. Then the caller asks us to give them the fax tone. After this we will forward that call to the fax machine (For instance we will press *, 25 to give the fax tone.) They get the fax tone and send the fax and our fax machine prints it. I tried the fax modem and integrated into one of the terminals of the PBX. And also I requested a person to send a fax from outside. Again the main phone rang. And the caller wanted me to give the fax tone. This time I forwarded the call to the fax modem instead of fax machine. This time also the fax printed but through the printer connected on the pc on which the fax modem connected. We only tried upto this. No What I want to know is whether fax modem only receive fax tones i.e. not able to change the voice signal into fax signal. For instance, assume you are having a pc and a fax modem in your home. And I am having a Tele-fax machine in my home. Suppose, that I want to send a fax to you (Assume you are having a Telefax machine). What we normally do. First I call the user, then the user take the phone. I tell him to give me the fax tone. Then he presses the fax receiving button in the Telefax machine. And his voice being cut off and I will get a fax tone. And then I start to copy the document and sent it. My question is supposed if you are having only fax modem. How can I send the fax to you? How I call you? How you answer Me? How you give me the fax-tone? And vice-versa. I hope you help me friends. I think that it not necessary to buy a dedicated line for the fax modem, if we are able to pick up both voice signals and fax signals using the fax modem and change it as necessary. I am also happy if any one can say the using limits of voice modem along with the pc. For example, IVR(Interacted Voice Response Service) related and voicemail facilities with the help of hard-disk.|||Hi!,


If you're running Windows XP, you can finally donate that old fax machine to a local charity and use the desk space for something more valuable鈥攍ike a box of doughnuts. An easy-to-use fax service is built into Windows XP so you can send and receive faxes from your computer.





There are a number of advantages to moving to a Windows XP-based fax system, the main one being no wasted paper. No need to print documents before faxing them. You can read, save, delete, or attach incoming faxes to e-mail鈥攁ll without using a single piece of paper. Of course, you can print them too.





Although you don't need a fax machine, you'll need a phone line, a modem, and a scanner to send and receive faxes from your computer. For faxing, the modem and scanner don't have to be anything special. Even a 33.6 bps modem will dispatch a multi-page letter in a minute or two. As to the scanner, faxes are sent in black and white and usually at a default resolution of no better than 150 X 150 dpi. Any working scanner can manage that.





Setting Up and Configuring Windows XP Fax


The fax service isn't automatically installed in Windows XP. To install the fax component:





1.


Open Control Panel, and click Add or Remove Programs.





2.


Click Add/Remove Windows Components. Select the Fax Services check box, and then click Next. The Windows Component Wizard takes care of the rest.





Note: If you don't have a modem already installed, take care of that now. Make sure the modem is connected to a phone line and the phone line is connected to a working jack. (You'd be surprised how often folks overlook these details.)








After the fax component is installed, the next step is configuring it. You configure the Fax service in the Fax Console, the center for faxing tasks. To configure the Fax Console:





1.


Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Communications, point to Fax, and then click Fax Console.











2.


On the Tools menu in Fax Console, click Configure Fax, which starts the Fax Configuration Wizard. Click Next to start configuring your fax information.





3.


On the Sender Information page, include your name or your business name and your fax number. Everything else on the page is optional.





4.


On the Select Device for Sending or Receiving Faxes page, your modem will be selected, unless you have more than one, in which case, select the right one. Specify send and receive options, and whether you'll manually answer incoming faxes or answer automatically when received.





5.


On the Transmitting Subscriber Identification (TSID) and Called Subscriber Identification (CSID) pages, enter your business name and fax number. These fields really matter when you're running special fax routing software. Most software of this kind depends on TSIDs to determine where to direct an incoming fax. See How to Enable and Configure the Fax Service in Windows XP for more information.





6.


On the Routing Options page, specify how incoming faxes will be handled. All faxes are stored automatically in the Fax Console, but you can also print a copy or store a copy in a local folder or on your network.








When you want to change or verify any of these settings, simply run the Fax Configuration Wizard again. To open the wizard, on the Tools menu of the Fax Console, click Configure Fax.

Sending Faxes from Your Computer


You can fax a document that's stored on your computer or you can scan a document and fax it by sending to your fax printer. In this section, I'll explain how to fax a document from your computer. If you can print a document, you can fax it.





The Windows XP Fax service uses the Windows Address Book (WAB) as its default address book for fax numbers. When you install Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002, the fax service switches to the Outlook Address Book (OAB) as its source for fax addresses. So you don't need to maintain two address books鈥攋ust one will do.





To fax a document stored on your computer:





1.


On the File menu of the document, click Print.





2.


In the Print or Print Setup dialog box, in the Printer name box, click Fax to open the Send Fax Wizard. (When faxing from an Office program, on the File menu, point to Send To, and then click Fax Recipient. An Office Fax Wizard asks for specific information and then hands the process over to the Send Fax Wizard.)











3.


To supply the recipient's fax number, click Address Book, and select one or more recipients just as if you were sending them an e-mail message.





4.


If you've already set up Dialing Rules, skip ahead. If you haven't, click Dialing Rules. If you need to dial an extra digit to get an outside line, or use a special carrier code, or dial an area code even for local numbers, add those settings here, and then click OK to return to the fax sending.








Very Important: Telephone numbers must be in the canonical form in which a U.S. number would appear as +1 (626) 555-1212. If you use even a slightly different form such as (626) 555-1212 or 1-626-555-1212, the dialing rules won't be applied and the fax transmission will fail.





5.


Select a cover page. Choose from the list or specify no cover page at all. Personally, I forego cover sheets unless I'm sending to a big corporation where it might get lost or the document needs some clarification. If you're into cover sheets, you can download additional fax and transmission covers from the Office Template Gallery.





6.


Specify when the fax should be sent as well as the fax's priority. Priority only matters if you're stacking up a number of faxes to be sent at a particular time. In that case, the order of sending will be determined by the priority you set.





7.


Finally, you're presented with a screen recapping the details of the fax and offering a chance to preview it. If the fax is a multi-page one, you'll be able to preview only the first page.








If you're sending the fax right away, the Fax Monitor, shown below, will start when the dialing does.

Faxing Scanned Documents


The second way to send a fax is to scan a document and then send it to your fax printer. The software that came with your scanner can help you set up this kind of fax and send it directly to your fax printer. However, you can also fax from a scanner using the tools in Windows XP:





1.


Open Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, click Scanners and Cameras, and then double-click the icon for your scanner to start the Scanner and Camera Wizard.





2.


On the Choose Scanning Preferences page, click Grayscale picture, and then click Preview to start the scanner.











3.


Provide a name and location for the scanned document.





4.


Open the folder that contains the image file, right-click the image, and then click Print. The Photo Printing Wizard opens.





5.


Select the check box for the image to be faxed.





6.


Select Fax as the printer you want to use.








When you finish the Photo Printing Wizard, the Send Fax Wizard opens and you proceed as described in the procedure for sending a fax from your computer.

Faxing from Outlook


To send faxes from Outlook, you have to add the Fax Transport Service as an e-mail account. To add Fax Transport Services in Outlook 2002, follow these steps:





1.


On the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.





2.


Click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.





3.


On the Server Type page, click Additional Server Types.





4.


On the next page, Fax Mail Transport is selected. Click Next to finish adding the account.








(For Outlook 2000, on the Tools menu, click Services, and add Fax Mail Transport there.)





To send a fax from Outlook, follow these steps:





1.


On the Standard toolbar, click New.





2.


In the blank message form, on the Standard toolbar, click Accounts, and then click Fax Mail Transport.





3.


Enter your message, click Send, and the fax modem will connect and transmit the fax message.








You can't automatically have incoming faxes transferred to your Outlook Inbox when you're using Windows XP. Received faxes can go only to the inbox of the Fax Console and to another folder, if you specify one. (See the Knowledge Base article, Windows XP-Based Fax Service Does Not Transfer Incoming Faxes to Your Inbox in Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2002, for more information.) However, if you copy incoming faxes to a folder, you can send them as attachments to e-mail messages just as you would any other file.

Troubleshooting Fax Transmissions


Sometimes the fax doesn't make it. When that happens, you'll want to try again. You can specify how many times to retry, how many minutes apart the attempts should be, and request notification of the success or failure of the transmission. These settings are amazingly well hidden, so just follow me:





1.


Open Printers and Faxes, right-click the Fax printer, and then click Properties.





2.


On the Devices tab, click Properties.





3.


On the Send tab, specify the number of times to retry sending a fax and how long the program should wait between each try.





4.


On the Tracking tab, set options for notifications and when the Fax Monitor should open.








On the Tracking tab, there's also a Configure Sound Settings button. No point in going there because it doesn't matter what those settings are. The settings for fax events in Sounds in Control Panel take precedence.

Receiving Faxes


After you've installed and configured the fax services, receiving faxes is as easy as falling off a log. Easier.





When you configured the Fax service, you specified how you wanted the faxes answered and where they should be deposited. By default, the Fax Monitor opens automatically when the modem detects an incoming fax. You can change when and why it opens on the Tracking tab of the Fax Properties dialog box (mentioned in the procedure for troubleshooting fax transmissions).





To view an incoming fax, go to the Fax Console, and click Inbox. Double-click an entry to see the fax in Windows Picture and Fax Viewer. Faxes are image files in the TIFF format, so they can't be edited as a text file can be. But you can view, rotate, and perform basic tasks with your fax document without opening an image-editing program. To print a fax, right-click it, and click Print. To send a fax as an e-mail attachment, right-click it, point to Send To, and then click Mail Recipient.

Faxing Options for DSL or Cable Modems


You can't use your DSL or cable connection for faxing. A new technology, Voice over IP (VoIP) will undoubtedly make this possible in the future. VoIP is an inexpensive alternative to traditional telephone communication that operates over the public switched telephone network (PSTN). VoIP covers computer-to-computer, computer-to-telephone, and telephone-based communications. For more information about VoIP, read the Voice-over-IP Overview and the VoIP FAQ from DSL Reports.





If you're without a modem or you don't want to tie up your phone line, an Internet-based fax service might work best for you. Visit the sites of Internet faxing services, among them eFax, and Faxaway and read their FAQs. Which service you choose depends on your pattern of fax usage. Some have excellent international rates, for example, but if you don't send faxes to other countries that probably doesn't matter to you. Also some services require that you use their software to read incoming faxes.

My 4 month old son has a nasty cold and cough advise please?

he has a runny nose and a lot of mucus he keeps coughing especially after hes eaten ive given him calpol and watered his bottles down by 1oz tried proping his cot up and feeding him sitting up ivr taken him to the doctors it is only a cold but has anyone any ideas how to make him a bit more comfortable?|||I'd suggest a cool mist humidifier in his room at night. If possible keep his head elevated when he sleeps to prevent nasal secretions from dripping into his throat. Also, try saline nasal drops, and suction the nasal secretions with a bulb syringe. I would also suggest NOT giving him Calpol (unless he has a fever) or any other over-the-counter treatment, including Vicks vapo-rub which is harsh and petroleum-based. I would suggest another visit to the pediatrician to have his airways reassessed - his cough may be triggering a wheeze - very common for children to develop bronchiolitis from a cold at this age, and he may benefit from nebulizer treatments. I'm also unsure about watering down his formula - in our practice, we advise against this.|||Go see a doctor.|||Awww, not nice is it, especially when you cant do anything about it, you just feel helpless. Its probably one of those things you are just going to have to sit out, try a couple of spots of albass oil on a tissue and just give him calpol, dont put the albass oil too close to him though just leave it in the room somewhere. You could also try steamed water in the room. Just keep boiling a kettle over and over again until the room fills with steam.|||Some good advice on here already but please don't give honey as it is usually recommended that you do not give honey to a child who is under 12 months. When my son had a similar problem at that age, we got saline drops and decongestants. Taking the baby into the bathroom and running hot water for steam does help.


It is a pain to see your little one suffering but he will get better. If the baby has the cough for more than a couple of days, it is advisable for you to take him to the Dr so that they can check him and make sure he's alright.|||Mix some lemon juice with a little honey and give him a spoonful every 3-4 hours.|||I used to use Karvol decongestant drops when my kids were younger. Just put some on an old bit of rag and put it over the side of the cot.|||I swear by my vaporiser! When my bub is sick I have it going in her room to keep her chest clear to ensure good sleeps. It works too!|||You can use a vaporizer with some Vick's or menthol. Also Vicks vapor rub and bath gel are good. Try giving him a bottle of water to rinse down the formula or breast milk. Both cause mucus to build up in the throat and cause more coughing. Good luck|||When my daughter was about the same age she had a pretty bad cold, she was born in December so right around the flu season and allergy season here in Florida... I was advised not to use medication but to just suction out the mucus in her nose and prop her up to sleep.. One day I was home alone and needed to take a shower so I put her in her carrier proped up in the bathroom while I showered and when I got out all the mucus in her nose was running down her face, apparently the steam from my shower really helped and sine then this is the method I use. I just close the curtain turn the showere on all hot and sit in the bathroom with the baby until the mucus starts coming out and then I suction... I told my Dr. and she has been suggesting this to other parents with children this young... You can also put a shower soother in the shower it is menthol and it will help also.. Fill your bath with hot water and close the windows and doors until the room is full of steam then sit in the room with bubs to help losen the mucus.

The steam will help loosen up the phlegm and make it easier for him to breathe.|||Most doctors will recommend a humidifier to use, which are great, but when my babies get really bad, I want to intensify the effect in order to give them some relief. In order to do this, I turn the shower on full blast all the way on hot. It's best to leave the shower curtain open a bit if you don't have a problem with a leaky shower head. Put the lid down on the commode and take a seat with the baby in your lap and just snuggle for a little while so that your baby can breathe in the steam. Once the bathroom gets really steamy, I turn off the shower and sit there for a few more minutes with the baby and this technique helps them breathe a little better for a couple of hours. So far I have heard options, then entered a number so that it appears in the "type a name or phone number" field. However when I press enter it assumes a number from my address book and places another call to that contact in my address book. It's bad. If I do nothing during my call then it eventually gets to the end of the IVR message and hasn't recognized a selection--so this system hangs up on me. I have a question about working out

im 16 years old 5'7 159lb male





the past 2 days ivr ran a total of 3 1/3 miles and walked the other 2/3rds





i have some 10lb dumbells and 20lb dumbells


how many reps should i do





also i want to get a 4 or 6 pack im doing the running to try to burn off a little fat


how many cruches should i do in 1 day?|||OK, first of all you need to do cardio every day which means you need to run every day, and it should be at least for 20 to 30 minutes.





Then, after running, you just need to do your work outs.


Lifting dumbbells and doing push-ups can give you strong and beautiful arms. And as for reps you should do 12 reps per set and you need to do at least 3 sets. And you can always add more reps and sets when you are done with the current weight or you could choose add more weight but still doing the same reps and sets.





And if you are gonna encounter any soreness the next day after you worked out, don't worry about it. It's a very normal situation because it means that the muscles on that particular haven't been working out yet.





And just do work out every other day to leave your body to recover and drink lots of water to hydrate.





And yeah doing crunches is just the same. Do it every other day and do at least three sets with 20 to 30 reps per set. How do you know you have worked your abs enough? Well when you feel the burn while you're doing crunches, then you are actually working your abs out.





And I think this is pretty much it and hope these information helped.

My wife need IVF to have a baby?

I have a child from another relationship i am now married about 1 month and my wife wants a baby no problem but it has to be via IVF and i dont mind but i dont want to rush the thing is that was fine until we went to the doctor and wast told the we can get into a program and save 1/2 the money our health insurance does not cover IVF, we went to the doctor just to get info and do the pre check and now she wants to start the process but there was no plan to have a child this soon and she feels that since i have a child i can care less that is not the case, I am 38 and she is 33 i want to at least enjoy being married before having a child she feel we can get it for 1/2 price IVR so we show forget other plans and spend the money we have also remmeber ivr is a 50/50 chance that it will work (on anyone) if it dont work then what ? i say to wait i know it's 1/2 price but this needs to be plan out, what r your take ?|||I agree with the first answer, but I also want to let you know that if IVF is the only way for her to get pregnant, then you should get started right away. She is 33 and the longer you wait her chances of conceiving with IVF will be less as she gets older. My husband and I decided to wait to have kids. I was 31 when got married. and at 33 decided to start trying to conceive our first. After a year of trying, we sought care from a RE and after testings and a few IUI realized that I have a blocked fallopian tube and will have to do IVF. So now I am 35 and will be starting IVF. My husband and I both regret waiting this long, cause my chances are now less at 35 rather than when I was 31 when we got married. I am not telling you to rush into things, but these are somethings that you may want to consider. And, yes, IVF is 50/50. There is no guarantee, You will have to keep doing IVF or do frozen embryo transfers, until she gets pregnant. the ivf process is very overwhelming.





this isn't about being able to save money on ivf. a baby is not like going to the store and buying an item that u didn't even want and u get it only because its on sale.|||Well you both need to be in agreement to do it because otherwise one of you will end up having regrets about it later. But I wonder what more do you want to "plan out" about it? I can understand that you want to enjoy being married, but also I can better understand why your wife feels the rush. At 33 as a woman you start feeling like your time is running out, and the studies show that the rate of birth defects increases after 35. I'm not sure how long you have been together before being married, but I think it's pretty normal that a woman would want to start working on a family right away after marriage. From her point of view I can see what she means about you already having a child so you don't have the same kind of feelings at all. I guess this is something you two need to get figured out out right now, because if not it's going to drive you apart. I'd also just like to point out that there is no "right time" for having a child. In my own case, my husband was exactly the same thinking as you, we married young and he wanted us to wait until we had bought a house, had a certain amount of money in the bank, etc, etc.......then finally I convinced him it was time, and we got pregnant right away, everything was perfect until at mt 40 week checkup, the baby had died. Since then he has admitted that he was wrong and if he had to do it over we would start having kids right away. My point to you is just to consider that the timing will never be right, it's just one of those things that you have to just jump into. I am now 32 and trying to get pregnant again, so I can relate to your wife's impatience.

TMT Pointe shoes? Cant go through demi pointe?

I got my pointe shoes exactly one month ago. Ivr had four one hour classe since then. I have followed the instructions for the TMT to break it in. I can only go through like half way to demi pointe. I can get up on the box fine and all that, but im curious about why i cant get to demi pointe.|||If they are your first pair of pointe shoes then don't worry about this. It takes a while for many beginners to pointe to break in demi pointe. If you don't have high arches and strong feet it can be especially hard. It helps to do many releves in sequences- 10 releves in first position, ten in second, ten in fifth, and ten in fifth with the other foot in front. repeat this a few times every day and eventually your demi pointe will be stronger. Also, as an earlier comment suggested, you may want to try out a different brand of pointe shoe, though its best not to do this unless you really can't roll through your feet. Its probably just a problem because you're feet aren't used to being en pointe. Give it another few months or so doing prances and releves, and your demi pointe will almost definitely have improved.|||Try taking a hair dryer to them, then put them on a roll through them.





It could be that these pointe shoes arent the right shoe for you. You might need something with a lower vamp like the Bloch European Balances.

Genuine windows 7 validation?

Hello everyone, it's winters again :-)


I have an OEM install of Windows 7 Home Premium on a HP Probook 4530s.


I get regular windows updates online, and it says 'windows is activated' in system properties.


Didn't reinstall after purchase, it's about 6 months old now.


But eventually I'd surely need to reinstall some day. The computer didn't come with a windows DVD. I downloaded an iso of windows 7 home premium SP1 from the ms website and burned my own. I have a serial number in this "Microsoft certificate of authenticity" sticker up the battery bay. So then, I was wondering if I could get windows 7 activated online if I reinstall using the DVD I burned and the serial number that came with the computer?


And this other day, i thought of trying out the microsoft security essentials app, the download said I'd need to run some validation check before they'd let me, and i backed off. What's this validation check? Could it possibly deactivate my perfectly working copy of windows 7?


I hate calling microsoft up and listenin to that b***h on the IVR. I've had activation issues with XP in the past.|||Your OEM product key will not work with a downloaded version of Win 7. It works only with the OEM version that came on your computer.





The validation check for MSE is to verify that your Win7 is legit. If you are legit then you have nothing to worry about.|||Actually you CAN use a downloaded win7 with your OEM license. (i have done it).


The OEM license is linked to the motherboard of that computer, so you cant use that code on a different computer. You need need the same copy of windows (windows 7 home premium) to match what you have the license for.


BUT what im not sure of is if that code will work for the win7 home + SP1, you may have to get it w/o the SP1.





As for the other question, no it wont deactivate your windows if its legit. Just to use the MS software, it makes sure you are using a legit copy of windows.

How to delete email from facebook?

Ok so i had problems with hacking, and ivr changed my password three times. I made a whole new email, and added it to my facebook email lost, however i cant find out how to delete the old one because you can still log in with that one. Id like to completely remove it form my facebook. I hate my sister? She think she is so good?

She always talks like she knows everything. My brother isnt like this he is 18 im 15 and my stupid sister is 22. My brother is understanding has to hear what i have to say if i do something wrong and there has to be a reason for it. Question about phone falling in water?

My phone (iphone 4) slipped out of my pocket into the toilet for a split second. It literally was completely submerged in water for one second. I took it out' wiped off the watet and dried the ports as best i could. Everything works completely normal on it. Initially, the ipod loudspeaker wouldnt work but it randomly started working out of nowhrere 5 hours later. It has now been 18 hours since it fell in and works normally. Ivr even charged it and its still normal. Is it possible that there was no true water damage? Or should i be expecting something futurewise?|||maybe you should go to an electronic shop and let them check to see if anythings funny about ur iphone!!! thats what i would do but its up to u|||You are probably one of the lucky ones.

I already tried calling them at the right times too but only the IVR answered.|||We all have the same problem, just to be clear, the government is apparently holding packages at random for an indefinite amount of time, no one will agree to help you.





I've called around all over the place, all anyone seems to do is rehearse the tracking information which I am already aware of and tell me to hang up. Not a single person show me any sort of support.|||I beg your pardon. The USPS does not suck . We are dealing with at least four different agencies in at least two different counties. What you have is a customs number that is not a tracking number. Tracking numbers internationally are difficult to obtain as the systems are not necessarily compatible unless you pay for the global express or registered mail.

I need help getting a new laptop. Do i build or buy?

I dable in some iphone hacking and modding. I work at a mall and have always had customers hand over their phones for a day and return them to their liking. As of lately, ivr had many iphone owners reluctant to had their baby to a stranger for 24 hours. So now i need to go mobile. I need a laptop. But im reluctant also to dish out 500, 900 or even $2000 for a beautiful mac for the sole purpose to feed a hobby that brings in less than $200 a month. I thought of buyin an older laptop and upgrade it to my liking. But would that end up costing me more than buying something new? The laptop just needs to run windows xp or preferably a mac os, the latest version of itunes (always "the latest")and connect to the internet. Nothing else.

Try a netbook, but they have limited space and aren't graphic friendly. If you tried, holding home %26amp; off button for 10 or so seconds and nothing. If you plug into usb while holding home button and nothing. And if you tried restoring factory settings on iTunes , and nothing, I'd go to Apple. These new firm ware and updates have been causing problems.|||It's a hardware problem so go to the repairing center.

And I was having these thoughts like "Why is he calling me at 10.30 pm in the night ?" . "Does he like me / miss me ?" ;) ..... "Would he tell my mom that I am gay and I was hitting on him?"


When I called again , it turned out the local pastors son .. I was so disappointed and felt like I am over-imagining things ..!|||I understand how you feel so confused because you're in one of the most volatile parts of your life. If you honestly feel attracted to this boy you're not over imagining, you're just hopeful. If anything you should explore these feelings and answer those questions to some degree, if you really like this young man, and if he feels thew same way, go for it. Just relax and take it easy, but never try to stop your imagination, it's a good thing.

No piano lessons for 4 wks: how can i last?

my piano teacher (best teacher ever) is in the hospital. his wife called and i wont be having piano lessons until early october. i've been doing piano for 1.6 years and intermediate level. i also, have piano lessons in college, the teacher, she sucks


becausr shr doesn't give a shyt about me and spent 10 mins easting my piano lesson chatting to others. i dont like her. i was really looking forward to tomorrow to his piano lesson. what do i do? ivr been practicing a few music peces from him for a while like mozart #5 symphony.|||Keep your practise up.





When you have mastered the pieces that your teacher set learn something else that will impress him when you have your next lesson.





You can learn scales as well this will also help.





Why not get an exercise book to help with finger dexterity and that will help in the long term as well.

How do i hide the HORRIBLE stretch marks on my legs?

ok so i dont need advice on eating less,cus that is bull.im not overweight and have always had a stable weight.i have loads of streth marks from the top of my thighs to my shin,down the inside of my leg.i have more in other places but here its the worst because its summer and its going to be too hot to wear trousers.i HATE it,it makes me so angry,and ye im a teenager 16,just like everyone else but ive got way more.

It's a really good cream for skin. If you want to cover the marks up you can try putting some foundation in it. I did that and it works just as long as you don't go swimming in it. Do i have panic, anxiety, or anger problems?

soetimes when i get upset i get this feeling in my chest, then it builds up and i totally freak out. i burst out in anger(/upset feelings) and i scream %26amp; cry ALOT. I can't control when i have tgese outbursts all i can do is warn people when it's going to happen. i used to have a history of cutting(5 years) %26amp; ive quit for 4 monthes now. i quit %26amp; still resumed to scratching my face and arms, %26amp; i've attempted hanging myself numerous times. i started cutting at 12 %26amp; quit for a year at age 13. Then i met a guy in highschool, %26amp; i fell in love wirh him sooo much! we werr together for two years, but near the end he became emotionally abusive saying i deserve to cut myself and die. i started cutting again and my emotions took a huge turn. ever since then ivr had a hard time quitting with my cutting, %26amp; i have very intense emotions. How are my parakeets getting out of their cage?

This started along time ago when i found one of my parakeets under my mawn lower ivr had him for over a month when i found him and another parakeet got out but we couldnt find her but we found feathera under our gates. Well we found jack under the mawn mower as i said when i found him i got him and put him in an extra little cage that i had in spare one i put him i saw him with half of his feathers ripped off :c he survived and is now fully healthy. A few months later that same bird got out again and we found my dog holding him with his paws ready to check but luckyly he was fine. Now one month later my lutino parakeet kelly got put and found her in my dogs paws asswell lucky she was fine she was miasobg two tail feathers. After that another of my parakeeta got out her name is sky and we found her hopping around fine. Now today my lutono parakeey got out today we couldnt find her we saw some of her feathers on my backyard grass. I coulsnt find her so i finally gave up right until i saw my dog sniff near a plant. I went to look over their and i found her, my lutino parakeet, dead. I got pulled her out and noticed she was very bloody. Notice: i wasnt home at the time i had recwntly came back from a store called dark realm records. She missing half of her body feathers. I also gave her a proper burriel and will never forgwt this day. But the question is how do they keep getring out i have them in a homemade cage about 5 feet wide and 5 feet tall the wire around that cage is chicken wire but they can barely fit their head through and the hole is smaller than their body. We checked for holes and their was nothing. Im so confused.|||well when i first read the title an answer immediately came to my mind. cuase the same thing happended to me when i got new parakeets. they had escaped the cage, and the reason was that two of the bars of the cage were bended and they squeezed thru. but in the end of your explnation you said there werent any holes in the cage u keep ur birds in. i suggest you check a few more times for any bends in the bars or any large holes. another thing that cudve happened (also happened to me) is that your budgie may be able to open one of the doors of the cage. like you know the food slot? where you put in the water and seeds? if they are the kind that you have to pull up to make space for the container then that just might be it. my parakeet cud slide up the door with his beak and get out before the door slid down again. amazing, yea. then u wudnt even know whether he opened the door or not. so my advice is to lock all the doors with string or something. a good locking thing wud be those small thin wires that have plastice wrap around them that are used to close gocery bags and stuff. those are really strong and stay in place well.

Make them a safe cage, with hardware cloth, and you won't have to worry about them getting out. If you can't protect your birds or any animals that you have, you need to give them to someone who WILL.

Question about phone falling in water?

My phone (iphone 4) slipped out of my pocket into the toilet for a split second. It literally was completely submerged in water for one second. I took it out' wiped off the watet and dried the ports as best i could. Everything works completely normal on it. Initially, the ipod loudspeaker wouldnt work but it randomly started working out of nowhrere 5 hours later. It has now been 18 hours since it fell in and works normally. Ivr even charged it and its still normal. Is it possible that there was no true water damage? Or should i be expecting something futurewise?|||ive had that happen with multiple phones and most of the time after they dry out they do work normal again. my husband dropped his in the lake and it still worked (it was a blackberry)|||When a cell phone (or other battery powered electronic items) gets wet, it is a very good idea to remove the battery and let the item dry out thoroughly before replacing the battery. Leaving the case open and placing the device in a sunny window or under a warm lamp can speed the process. Removing the battery decreases the chances of damage to the circuitry by shorting. Even though it is working normally now, if water is inside, it can cause a short later. I would still recommend opening it up, removing the battery and charger and letting it dry out overnight. Why cant i sleep im depressed :( help?

its been about almost a week and ive been kinda depressed cause i live for basketball and alot of coachs and parents and friends say im good at it, but latley its been becoming to much for me to handle im only 15 ivr been playing sence i was about 5 i just need a break but people dont understand or dont believe me when im telling them i dont wanna play anymore i am physically exhausted and emotionaly its taking its toll my mom just put me in another tourny tomorrow i have 3 games i wanna cry and idk what to do i cant sleep and havent been able too|||When you get to this point in your hobby, you gotta leave whether others get it or don't. I say this because if you don't then the thing you love (i.e. basketball) is simply going to lose all it's interest, permanently. Simply tell your mom right now that you NEED this break.Your too young to be under such stress. If all else fails then show her this question. Get the break you deserve girl, and finally get some sleep.





Don't be a wuss alright? It isn't the end of the world by telling her. (Unless she gets mad and is coincidentally God)

edit: maybe the reason she is doing it is because now that there is potential for scholarships and money, you have to be in top shape all the time. Maybe she's feeling a different kind of pressure: the financial pressure. But she doesn't seem to realize that too much of one thing is very bad. It can lead to burning out. Permanent injuries from over exertion that can completely derail your athletic future, especially on a still growing body. The list goes on.





Rather than trying to appeal to her emotionally, maybe try to make her it your way through factual reasons. This is one possibility. Try not to worry about sleep. Get up and laze about. You will not die without the 8 hours. Choose what you like best and give it attention If your mother wont listen try writing again. I am sure she wants a happy daughter.

Gradually losing interest in my friend?!?

I have a friend who is from Poland, ive known her for a year, and within that time we have grown to be really close friends. We both work together, and she is the supervisor so she is the one that tells me what to do...i can take it, but it can cause arguments sometimes.





Recently though, she has been seeing this guy...they see eachother 24/7, sleep with eachother and spend every minute together outside of work. She doesnt even love this guy....but xplains to me that she doesnt like to be alone...shes 23 im 18.





Thing is our friendship is gradually going downhill, everytime i see her at work she keeps talking about him all the time, im fed up of it. We never hang out anymore out of work...me and some friends have asked her to come out some evenings but she never does because she is meeting this guy of hers.


Ive told her what i think, ivr given her advice, and ive been a shoulder to cry on..but i dont think I can do it anymore. She always tells me that she wont let anyone hurt me, she once picked me up at 3 in the morning because i was in trouble, she told me she would do anything for me even though its in the middle of the night and she proved that to me that night.


she said that i was like a sister to her.





Im so confused about what she is doing with her life? Why is she doing this? What should I say to her?|||To be honest, I think you're making a big deal of it. Guys come and go, and soon as you know it that jerk will be out of her life and she'll come around. I'm going through the same problem as well, except she's my BEST FRIEND since grade 6 and her boyfriend is physically and mentally abusive. I haven't seen her in two years, and she can only talk to me when I phone her work line.





What I mean to say is, your "boss"/friend has proven herself as a great friend by the examples and nice things she says about you. She trusts you enough to tell you about this guy, and expects you to be there for her, not get mad because she can't come out.





Tell her your situation; that you don't like hearing about him (in a nice way) and see if you and her can move past that. She probably won't hang out as often still, but it's not worth losing her from your life (you still see each other every day? Maybe that's the problem). If she still goes on about it, or continues to not want to hang out with you, I would wait for her to come around on her own.
