I am starting a business and would like a website that will allow me to advertise my business.I want that webs

1.picture of completed pages


2.menu of sevices offered


3.allow customers to view my calender and request appointments


4.allow me to change the content from home.|||The important thing appears to be that you want to advertise, promote your business. As such, you need a full web site that shares this and is showing you in a professional light and is secure (calender puts up secure warning as you do not want it show 'names' of appointments you have)





The new web site needs to have, at least:


1. a home/index page that is using a marketing language that inspires people to trust you and believe in your product


2. Testimonial page, to show that others are pleased with your services.


3. FAQ page. List and answer frequently asked questions that a person may have


4. About you page: background, experience, training etc


5. Contact page. address, phone, email, a form they can fill out to request appointment or a call etc


6. Business information, what are you offering, how does it work


7. A sitemap of all pages ...kind of like a table of contents





Those are just a few things...and then you need the site to be found when someone searches. This is known as SEO and usually is best if it begins at site conception and while under development. This way the site is designed for good search engine readiness, pages named with phrases, you content is keyword rich and so on. Much is needed for that





A blog is also useful to have as they can contain information. There are many free blogs such as Blooger and Wordpress





The point is, if you cannot design your own site, find a good web master or an SEO expert who can also design the site for you. You will need to learn to maintain the site as it should be updated every few weeks and knowing how to do this will save you much money.
