On 9/12 widespread national attention was finally given to the tea party's message. On 9/13-9/15, Obama saw the biggest jump in his approval ratings he has seen in months.

When you put media figures behind something that essentially is supposed to appeal to whiners of all varieties (there was no particular message to any of the tea parties) and promise millions of participants, but only get "10s of thousands" , and then get caught lying about the number and showing photos of a different event to support your fake numbers - well that just has to suck.





I think the problem is that at leftist protest events people actually have fun. They have a few drinks. perhaps smoke a little grass, some get naked, there's always plenty of music way into the night. Of course that sort of environment attracts people.


But when the right protest it just because groups of gun nuts, tax evaders, religous fanatics and white supremacist skinheads all trying to prove how much angrier than anyone else they are. Why would any sane person want to join in?|||I wouldn't be surprised. The more publicity he can get from them that exposes them to be nutjob, radical liars (2 million people! lol) the better for him.|||No kidding. The more the crazies yell, the better Obama looks.|||Seeing 70,000 marching white men raising their right fists with fury brought back some memories the organizers of the march thought were completely forgotten.|||if you call .5% a JUMP..lol

An average of every major national poll doesn't necessarily make the end result more accurate... in fact technically it's possible to make it less accurate (in relation to reality).

So, the American people are not buying the Glenn Beck deal...good!|||LOL...yeah...you should believe the main stream media's portrayal of those attending the tea parties and/or those opposing Obama's policies. They're all uneducated racists and red necks, aren't they? In the meantime, MSNBC has been caught red handed editing a video tape and deliberately LYING by identifying a man carrying an automatic rifle at an Obama rally as a racist white man. When the whole picture is shown (instead of just the close up of the gun), it was an African American man who had the automatic strapped to his back.


The constant cries of racism (using doctored videos to "prove" the point) are what is setting back race relations in this country to the point they were decades ago...not the tea baggers and Obama critics. I've always HATED racism, but I'm getting increasingly angry with the race/redneck card being played anytime someone has a legitimate criticism of Obama's policies. (To his credit, Obama seems to be trying to distance himself from this foolish tactic.)





By the way, I'm NOT a Glenn Beck fan. His style is a little too drama-queenish for my taste. But the fact is he, and others like him, are showing the news that nobody in the MSM media will cover, or will try to cover up! That's why FOX news is creaming the competition. Unlike MSNBC, they've never been shown to be deliberately lying about a video.


I don't care for his style - or Hannity's for that matter - but I will watch them when they are carrying stories (like ACORN) that others ignore or deliberately and blatantly distort. You are in total denial if you don't get that.|||I can't wait til the truth comes out about this ACORN thing %26amp; again something they have done will have blown up in there face.
