Did Walmart Screw you too? (Or VISA)?

We made the mistake of purchasing a Walmart/Visa gift card with a 50 dollar amount attached.


I tried to use in on Blizzard.com for an upgrade on my account but it was declined. ALthough it was declined by Blizzard.com the walmart/visa still took the 29.99 off. After several calls to Walmart/Visa and being charged 50 cents each time,the idiot I spoke to said to report it stolen to get my refund faster. Not only has my refund still not been replaced(was told that on 12/30) but now I am being charged 5 bucks for a new card I dont even need,because this one will be invalid since it was reported stolen.





I have already informed the customer service I will never use there sevices again and have sent word to family and friends.





So heres my question: If this happend to you,would you forgive and still use the services? Were they way out of line? Was I?

https://www.walmartgift.com/wmgift/default.aspx|||it sounds like they were at fault. if i were you, i would send them an email, that way you have documentation, stating the facts clearly, but in a professional way, make them see it was their fault. tell them that you don't have extra money to be wasting for their mistakes and you don't appreciate their lack of good business ethics. tell them you want to be refunded the entire amount that you lost and let them know that if they refuse, you are sorry but you will have to forward this matter on to the better business bureau. if they still don't refund you, file a complaint with the bbb. http://www.bbb.org

2. I think that is is complete and total BS that they would do that to you. IF something like that happened to me that would be unforgivable...I'd be so ticked.








Have you tried the WOW visa card? I got it and it's freaking awesome! They never screwed me over. :)|||I would never use them again, and I would keep on complaining to a customer service MANAGER until I got my money back.|||They are out of line not you.|||yes. yes. no
