The other night I received a phone call from the US! I had this guy called Chris call me saying I had won a once in a lifetime holiday to Florida!! - How fabulous I hear you say!! I agree with you! However, this "Chris" had my DOB, home address and e mail address to say that I had entered this competition with all the above info. It was a fab offer - 5 days 4 nights in Florida, 4 days 3 nights in Ft Lauderdale, and 4 days and 3 nights on a cruise in the Bahamas. The catch - apparently Disny Promotions pay 75% of your holiday - you pay the rest and can have up to 4 people travelling!! OMG AMAZING opportunity huh!! WELL - once Chris has gone through all this - he even gives you his operator ID number and contact tel number for Disney Customer Sevices - you get put through to a female called Yasmin who then says the holiday is in conjuction with VISA. She said - " I can see you card starts with 4 can you please confirm the whole number" - Mmmm So I said NO. She then became extremely pushy and aggressive almost so of course the phone was put down on her!!
I am telling you all as I called VISA and they advised it is a scam. DO NOT give any details to these people regardless of how professional they sound!!|||It is a good thing that you put this on here so that people can be aware.
There are always scammers out there trying to cheat someone. My
elderly neighbor had such a call. She was so upset that she couldn't
tell me exactly what it was all about but she was told to give her credit card number. I hope they are stopped from doing this asap.|||your kind of an idiot for even going through the purpose to be honest
