This is a list of gay friendly employers that The Human Rights Campaign suggests LGBT community utilize.
These are equal opportunity companies, they offer health care and additional services to same sex couples.
But my question lies here; what do they offer their customers?
Does Nationwide Insurance offer a discount for being "married"? You pay more for your auto premium if your "single" ~I know they do not, probably as it doesnt fall within state/federal insurance guidelines.
What about financial sevices, do they know how to file their documents to best suit a "domestic partnership" Can Merrill Lynch give proper advice? If you own everything jointly, and you are in two income brackets, where do get advice?
Tax options without going over some tax threshold?
I dont really need a list of gay friendly employers, HRC
I need gay services.
Doctors, lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, insurance agents, banks, etc.
ANY SUCH LIST?|||A very delicate issue for many companys.
I would recommend contacting your local "support group " and checking with them.
That way you could network with their experiences and recommendations.
