Wahing Machine Problems - GE high efficiency top loading model WHRE5550K1WW Series LS126403G?
So I just tried to run a load of load (large load) in my 5 month old GE high efficiency top loading model WHRE5550K1WW Series LS126403G. It made banging noises and vibrated alot during the wash cycle and then went crazy during spin. So loud, squeeling, clanging and moving half way across the laundry room. I stopped the machine, re-distributed the clothes and tried again. Same thing happened. I stopped the machine, took most of the clothes out, left a couple of items in, ran it as a small load and same thing happened. It is banging and squeeling and moving so much it sounds like it is about to blast off! Also, the drum looks totally off center. So, obviously I have stopped it now. What on earth is going on? Do I need to call customer sevices for a technician?|||yeah if it's 5 months old get them out to fix it, sounds like one of the mounting springs or struts that holds the drum in place has broken or come off. Probably simple to fix.
