What is wrong with people? Why to they need to put up barriers that must be socially broken down?

Why do they create these barriers that must first be broken down just to get to know them? the fake smiles, the fake laughs, acting like There in customer sevices all the time? Example: Ohhh Hiiii, how are you??(note the tone inflection) "im fine" How was you weekend? hows the weather? Then you tell them a little something and they give the noding and pretending to care thing saying "uhuh... yes mmmm... REALLY!! that sounds nice uhuh" and its all just as fake as there painted on face.


You can tell they have lived there life this was cos the huge crows feet. reall laughs dont give you these. Women do this more that men. infact they get together in groups just to do this!! Im real. i dont smile unless something makes me smile. why the barriers? then you have to play this game are expected to show barriers of yourself and small talk untill these break down. i find that if people see that I have no barriers then they dont know how to act and its hard for them to know how to interact.|||Real people have real feelings, some not as many, or acute as many others. Many have barriers that they feel protect them while all the while giving signs of the underlying issues the person wishes to conceal. Sometimes people just don't have great communication skills and are either nervous or possibly shy. Fake implies the person is compelled to conceal themselves for one reason or another. Also you claim you have no barriers why is that? Leaving yourself open to others isn't the most self preserving stance, you can enjoy someones company without them being the center and the all. There is a notion in ours and most societies that a persons personal world, and professional world, are separate, and at all times this is to be preserved, no one should have to be a puppet at all times to a delusional world full of contradictions, enigma, and illusions.|||people build walls instead of bridges between themselves thats why this barrier..|||That's the way most people are, the way they live every day, people get used to things easy and often they don't want to change them.
